The Lib Dems remain the best option for those who wish to achieve this result, do they not? Even if one based one's opinion solely on the achievements of the Coalition government, the tax system has already been made more progressive since May 2010, mainly due to the partial implementation of Lib Dem policies on income tax thresholds, capital gains tax, etc.
He's not the brightest light in the starry Hollywood firmament, clearly.
